Britney and Drew's Wedding - The George Washington Hotel

Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 -  Violin, Piano, and DJ

We had a great time providing music for Britney and Drew's wedding at The George Washington Hotel in Washington, PA! We performed violin and piano music for their ceremony and cocktail hour from the second floor balcony which overlooked the elegant and historical Washington Room and the hotel foyer.

Britney walked down the aisle to a piece composed by Drew. We created a transcription and arrangement of the piece for violin and piano just for their special day. They both had tears of joy upon hearing the first notes of the melody.

The bride and groom requested an "unplugged" ceremony with no electonic devices, including cameras. However, they gave a quick and fun photo opportunity at the beginning of their ceremony so the guests could get the photo taking out of their system.

Rev. Mark DeNuzzio from A Simple Vow did a wonderful job personalizing the ceremony and playing along with their pictures!

After cocktail hour in the foyer, their guests gathered upstairs in the Grand Ballroom.

The bridal party entered to "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by The Darkness

Other special songs for the evening included:

"Love You Madly" by Cake - Cake Cutting

"Your Song" by Ellie Goulding - First Dance

"How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor - Father/Daughter Dance

"I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack - Mother/Son Dance

"Happy Together" by The Turtles - Family Dance (Pictured Below)

Drew and Britney enjoyed their celebration with family and friends as they danced to a variety of musical genres/eras and had loads of fun with the Anniversary Dance, Shoe Game, and Honeymoon Dance.
