Saturday, May 25th, 2013

Alyssa and Stephen's wedding reception started with Jake and I playing violn and piano together in the tropical themed lobby of the Embassy Suites Hotel. We played some newer arrangements that a younger audience enjoyed such as Katy Perry - Firework, and Coldplay - Paradise.

Their reception was full of fun surprises that were enjoyed by all. After their first dance and cake cutting, We were able to help Richelle, their maid of honor, surprise Alyssa and Stephen by showing them a movie she created. It included photos from Alyssa and Stephen's childhood and up through their engagement photos.

After dinner was the next surprise! Alyssa is a big Pirate's fan so her aunt arranged for the Pirate Parrot to visit their wedding reception.

All of their guests enjoyed the surprise green guest and danced to the "Chicken Dance"

Next, they danced to the "Cupid Shuffle."

Their last dance was "We are Young," -FUN.

Heather and John's Wedding - North Park Lodge

Saturday, May 18th, 2013

I had a great time meeting with Heather to discuss her musical tastes and ideas for her wedding ceremony. She chose pop songs mixed with a few traditional songs for prelude music and Canon in D for the bridal processional. She had a special request for when she walked down the aisle. I transposed Heather's favorite song for her because there is no written music for it. Heather was very happy walking down the aisle to this song!

Below is a collage of Heather and John's beautiful decorations and cakes from their ceremony
