Nickolas and Sara's Wedding - Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort

Saturday, August 24th, 2013

It was a pleasure working with Sara and Nickolas in planning their ceremony wedding music. They wanted to hear many well-known classical pieces as well as a mix of more modern pop songs. Their selections from their ceremony are listed below.

Prelude Music

·      Rainbow Connection, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, followed by classical music

Processionals

Grandmother Processional - Ave Maria, Bach

Mother Processional - Continue playing Ave Maria, Bach

Bridesmaid Procession - Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring

Bridal Processional - Canon in D

Unity Candle - Largo, Xerxes

Recessional - Trumpet Voluntary

I enjoy the opportunities to visit so many beautiful Pittsburgh area reception venues as I play violin for wedding ceremonies. This amazing view is in the Crystal Terrace Room overlooking the golf course and the landscape beyond.

Luke and Rachel's Wedding - The Mansion, Butler

Saturday, August 10th, 2013

Luke and Rachel were described as being a fun-loving, "spicy" couple during a toast at their wedding. This was evident as they celebrated their wedding with lots of joy and their own flair. Their wedding reception started with an exciting entrance and toasts in the front of The Mansion in Butler, PA.

Their guests enjoyed exploring The Mansion and visiting the many food stations offered. There were Pittsburgh, "Fancy Food", Costa Rican, and Kid's food stations in The Mansion's East Wing.

Rachel and Luke chose light pop, light rock, and a few vocal jazz tunes for their cocktail hour and dinner music.

Luke prepared a musical surprise for his wife, Rachel. He sang a love song as his friends accompanied him on guitars. As the guitars strummed on, Luke and Rachel shared their first dance as husband and wife.

Luke and Rachel's guests had a great time dancing until the end of the evening. Their friend Matto led the crowd in a zany dance to Newsboy's "Spirit Thing."

The dollar dance took a unique twist as a "Dollar Salsa." The proceeds are benefiting a Honduran orphanage where Luke and Rachel will volunteer.

Erin and Chris' Wedding - Seven Oak Country Club, Beaver

Saturday, June 22nd, 2013

Erin and Chris' wedding ceremony took place at the Seven Oaks Country Club on a gorgeous summer evening. Their elegant ceremony started with light, upbeat violin prelude music. Their mothers, flower girls, and ring bearers walked down the aisle to, "Hallelujah"-Cohen followed by Erin's bridesmaids to the slower part of "Canon and D." Erin had a great idea of using the faster section of Canon in D for her processional so her guests could enjoy listening to a majority of the piece. Concluding thier ceremony, I played "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "Happy Together." Thank you Erin and Chris for letting me be apart of your special day!
