Danielle and Derek's Wedding - The Buhl Mansion

Saturday, June 14th, 2014 - DJ reception

Derek and Danielle hosted their wonderful outdoor wedding reception at the Buhl Mansion in Sharon, PA. Their guests listened to a mix of light pop and jazz music including Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, and more during their cocktail hour and dinner.

The bride and groom cut their wedding cake to "River Flows In You," Yiruma with a miniature Marine Corps sword.

The bar was in the carriage house attached to the mansion. The paintings were beautiful!

Dan announced a short bio of all the members in the bridal party as they were introduced. It was a fun idea so the guests could better know and connect with the bridal party. Danielle and Derek danced to "We Are Man and Wife," by Michelle Featherstone for their first dance.

This is our first time creating and sharing a movie of dance clips. We hope you enjoy it!

Congratulations Derek and Danielle!

Kristen and Jason's had the perfect weather and view of Pittsburgh on their wedding at Lemont Restaurant on Mt. Washington! Guests enjoyed the scenic outlook over the city with a Pirate's game and the Three Rivers Arts Festival taking place below.

Sarah played violin for cocktail hour and strolled to tables during dinner. Kristen and Jason chose 20 of their favorite tunes which Sarah played as she interacted with every table while playing their requests. The Devil Went Down to Georgia, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and several Disney melodies were commonly requested songs. Guests clapped and sang along to the familiar music while eating dinner.

The lovely bride and groom cut their cake and cupcake cake to "Best Day of My Life."

Kristen and Jason's first dance was extra special because Kristen's sister, Melissa, sang "Love Song," by Adele. The dancing continued with dances with the parents, bridal party dance, anniversary dance, and many fun songs that the bride and groom chose to dance to throughout the evening.

Congratulations Jason and Kristen!

Britney and Drew's Wedding - The George Washington Hotel

Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 -  Violin, Piano, and DJ

We had a great time providing music for Britney and Drew's wedding at The George Washington Hotel in Washington, PA! We performed violin and piano music for their ceremony and cocktail hour from the second floor balcony which overlooked the elegant and historical Washington Room and the hotel foyer.

Britney walked down the aisle to a piece composed by Drew. We created a transcription and arrangement of the piece for violin and piano just for their special day. They both had tears of joy upon hearing the first notes of the melody.

The bride and groom requested an "unplugged" ceremony with no electonic devices, including cameras. However, they gave a quick and fun photo opportunity at the beginning of their ceremony so the guests could get the photo taking out of their system.

Rev. Mark DeNuzzio from A Simple Vow did a wonderful job personalizing the ceremony and playing along with their pictures!

After cocktail hour in the foyer, their guests gathered upstairs in the Grand Ballroom.

The bridal party entered to "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by The Darkness

Other special songs for the evening included:

"Love You Madly" by Cake - Cake Cutting

"Your Song" by Ellie Goulding - First Dance

"How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor - Father/Daughter Dance

"I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack - Mother/Son Dance

"Happy Together" by The Turtles - Family Dance (Pictured Below)

Drew and Britney enjoyed their celebration with family and friends as they danced to a variety of musical genres/eras and had loads of fun with the Anniversary Dance, Shoe Game, and Honeymoon Dance.
